ROAS (return on ad spend) is revenue divided by ad spend. A 3.0x ROAS means every $1 of ad spend produced $3 of revenue. Blended ROAS applies the same formula across every channel combined — total revenue ÷ total spend — which is the number most clients actually care about.
ROAS works when you track revenue; for lead-gen accounts with no revenue value, lean on cost per acquisition (CPA) — total spend ÷ conversions — instead. This calculator shows both so it works for e-commerce and lead-gen alike.
